LIVERPOOL FANS: Howard Webb now a Chelsea supporter

Its been a difficult couple of games for Liverpool, losing at two title rivals in Manchester City and Chelsea.

And, for both losses, it is easy for Liverpool fans to point the finger at the officials who have denied the Merseyside giants in both games.

At the Etihad, it was Lee Mason denying Raheem Sterling with an offside call early doors that had Liverpool supporters irate.

On Sunday, Howard Webb, a referee who has been harsh on Liverpool before, was the centre of attention for at least two decisions regarding Samuel Eto’o.

The Chelsea striker was lucky only to receive a yellow card for the foul that led to Martin Skrtel’s opener.

And, there is little doubt Eto’o gave away a stonewall penalty for pushing over Luis Suarez in the box late on.

Nothing was given. Cue the photoshops and irate Tweets below.

Howard Webb was of course trending on Twitter after Chelsea 2 – Liverpool 1.
