Al Ahly' Trezeguet Set To Join Anderlecht

Egyptian giants, Al Ahly are considering to allow their starlet Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' to move to Belgium side Anderlecht. The Belgian side put in a bid for the Al Ahly midfielder last month but the Egyptian club turned down the offer.

Though Anderlecht would later up their bid to €3.5 million for Trezeguet, Al Ahly still insisted that their attacking midfielder is not for sale.

Al Ahly football director, Alaa Abdel Sadek, has now given the hint that Trezeguet could be allowed to join the Belgian side.

“Trezeguet might leave the team soon," Sadek said.

Sources in Al Ahly revealed to supersport.com that Anderlecht have further upped their bid for the talented midfielder and that has now forced the leadership of Al Ahly to ponder doing business with the Belgian side for Trezeguet.

The same sources disclosed that with Al Ahly snapping up Saleh Gomaa they are becoming more willing to allow Trezeguet leave the club.

Trezeguet is one of the key players of the Red Devils. He was pivotal in Egypt's triumph at the 2013 African Under-20 Championship and is currently a member of the Egyptian Olympic team.
