Haruna Lukman has played few matches for Nigeria in the past. Poor performances for both club and country has ensured the deeming of his shine. His Ukranian club has shipped him to Russia at Eto's formal club Anzhi Makhachkala. We hope luck shines on him back.
Anzhi Makhachkala have completed the signing of midfielder Haruna Lukman on a season-long loan deal from Dynamo Kiev till the end of 2015.
Last season at Dynamo, the former Golden Eaglets player made 18 appearances for Serhiy Rebrov’s men with nine of them as substitute.
Now Lukman has a chance to revive his career in the Russian Premier League, where it will be hoped he can get regular playing time.
He will compete with Valeriu Ciupercă, Ivan Mayewski and Batraz Khadartsev for a place in Yuri Semin’s starting XI as the Anzhi-Arena outfit look to improve on their second-placed finish in the 2014-15 campaign.
