According to BBC, former Super Eagles international, Sunday Oliseh is in advance talks with the Nigeria Football Federation over becoming the new coach of the national team.
The NFF has acted swiftly to replace former head coach Stephen Keshi, with the appointment of the 40-year old ex-Super Eagles captain.
Sunday Oliseh who is an Olympic gold medalist, was part of the Golden generations of Nigerian football, alongside Nwankwo Kanu, Finidi George and Austin Jay-Jay Okocha. He also played at the World Cup in 1994 and 1998, helping the Super Eagles to the last-16 at both tournaments and in the latter he scored a memorable winner as Nigeria shocked Spain 3-2 in a group match.
