Man United's Ed Woodward Heading To Barcelona To Finalise Pedro's Transfer Move Tomorrow

Spanish newspaper Sport claim Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has scheduled a meeting in Barcelona with the Catalan club officials for tomorrow.

Sport believe Man United hope to spend €25m on the 28-year-old winger but Barca will look to hold out for €30m.

Despite playing 90 minutes in Sunday night’s 3-1 pre-season friendly defeat to Fiorentina, Pedro has reportedly accepted that his future lies in the Premier League with Louis van Gaal.

Pedro made 15 starts in La Liga last season but is firmly behind Luis Suarez, Leo Messi and Neymar in the Barcelona pecking order.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is looking to replace last summer’s record signing Angel Di Maria – who is set to join PSG in the very near future.
