Xherdan Shaqiri Agrees Personal Terms With Stoke City

Less than twenty-four hours after he was spotted in the stands at the Britannia Stadium watch Stoke take on Liverpool, Swiss playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri has agreed terms to join the Potters.

The Stoke Sentinel have today announced that Shaqiri has agreed personal terms to join Mark Hughes’s side, while Sky Sports have reported that Shaqiri is having his medical at the club.

According to the reports, Shaqiri is set to join Stoke for around £12m.

The Swiss star, who has struggled at both Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, looks primed to be sold by Nerazzurri before the transfer window closes.

Stoke, however, still need to close the deal ahead of Everton and Newcastle, who are also chasing the 23-year-old.

If his move to the Potters happen, Stoke would fancy their chances this year in the league with a hungry Shaqiri alongside a fit-again Bojan Krkic in attacking midfield positions…
