Mourinho Leaves New Signing Papy Djilobodj Out Of Champions League Squad

Jose Mourinho signed Papy Djilobodj after failed attempts to sign John Stones from Everton but happenings show that the Portugese Gaffer doesn't have too much believe in the young Cameroonian who was left out of the champions league list.

Papy Djilobodji was undoubtedly delighted when he secured an unexpected deadline day move from Nantes to Chelsea for £3 million.

Signed as an extra defensive option after the failed pursuit of Everton’s John Stones, pundits don’t see Djilobodji getting much game time this season. Jose Mourinho picked six defenders in a squad that should include 25 players but is two men short due to Chelsea’s lack of ‘locally trained players’.

Every club in the competition must include a minimum of eight locally trained players in their squad, which led to the inclusion of players like academy graduate Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
