Victor Moses Completes West Ham Loan Move

West Ham have made it three deadline day signings by completing deals for Victor Moses and Nikica Jelavic. Nigerian winger Moses has moved to Upton Park from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal.

Croatian striker Jelavic has arrived on a permanent deal from Hull, for a fee in the region of £2million. The deals for the duo were confirmed shortly after Alex Song's return to West Ham was confirmed by Hammers co-chairman David Gold.

Cameroon-born Song made 31 appearances in all competitions for the London club on loan from Barcelona last season and has signed another year-long deal.

West Ham are also working on a deal for Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Hammers were initially keen to land the Tottenham striker on loan but any transfer will now have to be a permanent one.

Premier League rules restrict clubs to signing just two players on season-long loans from top-flight rivals, a quota which the Hammers have already filled by signing Carl Jenkinson from Arsenal and Moses from Chelsea.

Tottenham and West Ham are now discussing a possible way around the situation, with Spurs desperate to get Adebayor off the wage bill.

Aston Villa also still remain interested in the former Arsenal and Manchester City forward and could yet make a late bid.
