Nigerians Abroad: Iheanacho, Martins, Emenike, Ibrahim, Ujah, Ighalo Hits Target, Mikels Starts & More

Several Nigerian players were on song across Europe this weekend. Goals kept coming in and of cause Mikel made a rare start while Martins can't stop leaving up to his nick name Obagoal. The big question is this will Oliseh have a rethink over Martins. Obagoal has pleaded to Oliseh to give him a recall to the national team.

Vincent Enyeama: Super Eagles captain was in goal for Lille for the entire duration as they drew goalless at Lyon.

William Troost-Ekong: The defender saw action for the entire duration of the game as his Norwegian club Haugesund lost 5-0 at Stromsgodset.

Ahmed Musa: The forward played full game in CSKA Moscow's 2-2 home draw with Zenit St.Petersburg.

Kelechi Iheanacho: He showed great predatory instincts when he slotted home Manchester City match winner at Crystal Palace in stoppage time. His finishing skills will most certainly add value to the Eagles.

Anthony Ujah: He was among the goals for Werder Bremen as they beat hosts Hoffenheim 3-1. He played full game.

Emmanuel Emenike: He scored a brace for Al Ain in a 2-0 win over hosts, Al Wasl. He played full game.

Leon Balogun: He returned to action for Mainz after a knock during national team assignment. He played full game in a 2-1 loss at Schalke 04.

Carl Ikeme: Eagles goalkeeper was an unused substitute for Wolverhampton Wanderers as they lost 2-1 at Bolton.

Mikel Obi: He got his first start of the season for Chelsea and assisted Nemanja Matic for Chelsea only goal as they lost 3-1 to Everton. He played 55 minutes before he gave way to Kennedy.

Rabiu Ibrahim: He scored a goal in Trencin 5-3 win over Spartan Trnava in a Slovakia league game. He lasted the entire duration of the match.

Kingsley Madu: The left-back played full game for Trencin in a 5-3 win.

Juwon Oshaniwa: The left-back played for Hearts in a 2-0 loss at Inverness CT. He lasted for 87 minute when he was red carded, the first of his career.

Odion Ighalo: He scored the only goal to earn Watford their first victory in the EPL, beaten Swansea 1-0. He played for 71 minutes. It will be interesting if he is again overlooked by Oliseh for next month’s matches.

Joel Obi: Fit-again midfielder played for Torino as they drew 2-2 at Hellas Verona. He played for 51 minutes.

Akeem Latifu: The right-back was on from start to finish for Aalesund in their 3-1 loss at Lillestrom.

Godfrey Oboabona: The central defender played from start to finish for Rizespor as they drew 1-1 with Sivasspor.

Kenneth Omeruo: He was in action for the full game as Kasimpasa lost 1-0 at home to Fenerbahce.

Elderson Echiejile: He played for Monaco as they beat hosts Ajaccio 1-0. He played 90 minutes and was booked.

Kehinde Fatai: He was a 51st minute substitute for Sparta Prague in a 1-1 draw at Joblonec.

Obafemi Martins: He scored his 12th goal of the season for Seattle Sounders in their 1-1 draw at San Jose Earthquakes. He played 90 minutes. Will Oliseh call him up now?

Ogenyi Onazi: He was an unused substitute for Lazio on a 2-0 win over Udinese. He will be available for the Eagles after serving out a match ban for his red card against Chad in June.

Brown Ideye: He played for the entire duration for Olympiacos in a 3-1 win over Plantanios. Oliseh has hinted he will consider him for his new Eagles soon.
