NPFL: Kwara United Can Halt The Charge Of Sunshine FC - Coach Tunde Abdulrahman

Coach Tunde Abdulrahman has called on his Kwara United players to "halt the charge" of Kennedy Boboye’s Sunshine Stars.

Sunshine Stars in fourth, hold the narrow advantage having defeated the Ilorin outfit 1-0 in the first leg and Kwara United coach Abdulrahman is hoping to blunt Boboye's charges on Saturday.

“We cannot afford to lose any more points especially at home though we are working on our results on the road,” said Abdulrahman.

“Sunshine have been one of the best this season and they play a very attractive football. We are preparing to deal with that when they come calling on Saturday.

““We want to win and we will do all we can to make sure we beat them. We are not going to settle for anything except the maximum three points at stake.

“I want to call on our fans to come out en masse and also play a big role by getting behind the lads on Saturday,” he concluded.

Kwara United are 17th on the Nigeria position on the log with 32 points while Sunshine Stars who are chasing their first win in five games are 4th place with 47 points.
