Ighalo is sharp and Obafemi Martins is still a favorite with many Nigerian fans. With Ighalo refusing to hit the back of the net in the double sided encounter against the Shilangus of Swaziland this are the 5 hot Nigerian strikers that Oliseh might decide to turn to. They are hot and presently in top form.

1. Olanrewaju Kayode

The former Nigeria youth international was fantastic for Israeli team, Maccabi Netanya and he has been doing same at Austria Wien.


Kayode is a young and enterprising striker whose goals scoring ability is not in doubt.

He has scored seven goals this season for Austria Wien.

He scored 13 goals to helped Maccabi Netanya promote to the top flight in Israel and scored 10 in the top flight last season before he switched to Austria.

5. Kehinde Fatai

He has been on fire for the Czech Republic team this season, with five goals in 10 games, two goals in UEFA Champions league and two in the Europa League.

During his time at Romanian club Astra Giurgiu, Fatai scored 41 goals in 114 games.

He has represented Nigeria at U20 and U23 level.

Romania FA made efforts to make him play for their national team, but their request was not granted.
