The Warri Wolves star emerged as the goal king of this past Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season with 17 goals to underline his consistency in front of goal.
Though he has played a handful of games for the main Eagles, he needs to get more playing time with team more as top striker than playing on the wings.
Salami is a complete striker, strong, fast, skillful and has a great attitude on the pitch.

He has been on fire for the Czech Republic team this season, with five goals in 10 games, two goals in UEFA Champions league and two in the Europa League.
During his time at Romanian club Astra Giurgiu, Fatai scored 41 goals in 114 games.

Romania FA made efforts to make him play for their national team, but their request was not granted.
