The Cameroon national team have departed for Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament after initially refusing to travel.
The players were due to depart on Sunday but refused their journey to Brazil until an amount of £61 000 was paid to them for taking part in the tournament.
The Cameroon Football Federation have sorted the problem after discussions and Cameroon are now on their way to Brazil, 12 hours late than earlier scheduled.
Joseph Owona, the president of the Cameroon Football Federation said of the situation:
“Everything has been resolved.
“We have opted for transparency. There is no problem and I think the team needs to be mobilised for all to look in one direction.”
Cameroon have been drawn in Group A with FIFA World Cup hosts Brazil but take on Mexico and Croatia respectively before facing the host nation in their final group game.
