Chelsea`s Salah Set For €2m Loan Deal With AS Roma

Jose Mourinho has said he will allow Salah to go if the right fee comes. In the absence of the right transfer fee a loan deal is set to be considered as the Egyptian might be regretting why he joined the Blues after reaching a close deal with Liverpool.

Amidst interest from a host of Serie A clubs, Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah looks set to join Roma on a one year loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.

The 23-year-old Egyptian superstar failed to settle at Stamford Bridge since signing from Basle in 2014 but enjoyed a wildly successful loan spell at Fiorentina during the second half of the 14/15 campaign.

According to widely respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, a deal is close between Chelsea and Roma.

Mohamed Salah is expected to sign for Roma on a one year loan worth €2m but his contract will include an obligation to buy next summer worth €20m, thus making Chelsea a profit on the £11m flop.

Inter Milan and Fiorentina have both shown plenty of interest in acquiring the skilful winger but it is understood that Salah would much prefer the opportunity to play Champions League football.
