NPFL: Sharks Can't Hide Says Tunde Abdulrahman

Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Abdulrahman has said there will be no hiding place for the Garden City landlords, Sharks. The Harmony Boys will host bottom placed side Sharks in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 17 clash at the Kwara State Stadium in llorin.

Abdulrahman said he hopes to complete a resurgent week on a high note after initial poor run of form.
The former Wikki Tourists gaffer said the side are boosted heading into the clash against Sharks following the the goalless draw at FC Taraba in Makurdi on Saturday and a 5-3 penalties victory against ABU Zaria in the Federation Cup round of 32 in Minna on Wednesday.

“There won't be any water for Sharks to swim in llorin on Sunday. Our target is the three maximum points and we won't settle for anything less.

“Some of my injured players are back stronger and well integrated with the other members of the team.

“I’m not comfortable with our position on the log at the moment so the move to change the poor form will start on Sunday against Sharks.

“Yes, we had couple of bad days recently but we are ready to make amends from now on.

“The Federation Cup victory on Wednesday is a good tonic to go into this game.

“The players fought hard to advance to the round of 16 so I expect them to take the winning mentality into the game on Sunday,” said Abdulrahman to supersport.com.

Kwara United currently occupy the 17th position on the log on 16 points from a possible 45 with a game in hand against Warri Wolves.
