KARL-HEINZ RUMMENIGGE insists Bayern Munich will not part with Thomas Muller, despite Manchester United's interest.
The Bayern chief executive admitted Louis van Gaal's interest in the attacker has been 'stubborn' but he confirms it will not lead to a sale.
And he added that 'no price' could force the Bundesliga champions to sell the 25-year-old this season.
He told reporters: "Louis van Gaal is very stubborn, but there is no price for Thomas Muller."
The Red Devils have reportedly made a number of approaches for the World Cup winner, offering in excess of £50m for his services.
And German magazine Kicker claim United have the striker firmly in their sights and are willing to go as high as £70m.
Van Gaal has already raided his former club for midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger this summer and will be looking to boost his attacking options, with only Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and youngster James Wilson to choose from.
