FC Taraba Will Survive In NPFL - Ndubuisi Nduka

FC Taraba head coach, Ndubuisi Nduka has said his side have good chances of survival in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Jalingo outfit sit at the base of the 20-team top flight log despite a spirited 1-0 win against Sunshine Stars in match day 20 clash on Sunday. Nduka said the league is still an ongoing race which no team can rightly claim full ownership of title or staying right until the last match is played.

“League is like a race you cannot say it is over until the race is completely seen to be over.

“When the season started some teams were leading the pack at the summit but today they are nowhere to be found.

“So I can confidently tell you that it is not yet over for FC Taraba as far as its status quo in the Nigerian top flight is concerned.

“I’m happy we claimed a morale boosting win against a top side, Sunshine Stars in Sunday’s match day 20 clash.

“We will build on the momentum to claim more victories that will see us leave the base permanently.

“We are heading to Enugu to confront Enugu Rangers in the midweek clash, we are going to give it our very best,” said the former Heartland coach to supersport.com.

FC Taraba are at the bottom of the top flight log on 16 points from possible 60 in the 20-week old league.
