Nigeria's Odion who was just ignored by Oliseh for the AFCON qualiyfing match against Tanzania has had a 5-year contract extention at Watford.
Watford forward Odion Ighalo has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract at the club.
The 26-year-old player played a key role in the Hornets’ qualification to the English Premier League by scoring 20 goals in 35 Championship appearance for the team.
On his debut in the English topflight, he was on target as Watford played a 2-2 draw against Everton.
Ighalo has three senior international cap to his name, having been handed his debut in Nigeria’s 1-0 defeat to Uganda in March 2015.
Having previously spent time on loan at Cesena and Granada, he will be hoping to catch the eye of Quique Sánchez Flores as the Hornets attempt to remain in the English topflight next season
