Dolphins manager, Stanley Eguma insists the club will profit from the “vast experience” of striker, Victor Ezeji after revealing his shock capture last week.
Ezeji, who made his Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) bow 20 years ago, will be pulling on the Dolphins strip for the third time in his career following earlier stints on two previous occasions.
Eguma is pleased with the acquisition and believes the NPFL legend will play his part in helping Dolphins avoid relegation this season.
“Victor will help us with his vast experience. He is still a very good player despite his age and I am sure his presence will inspire the other players at the club,” Eguma told supersport.com.
The trainer however lamented the club’s failure to do more during the transfer window stressing that more reinforcements are required.
“We need to strengthen the squad even more. We need more players to beef up the squad but we are facing several constraints.
“However, we will continue to work with what we have and hopefully, we will avoid relegation,” he said.
Dolphins currently sit in 18th place on the NPFL standings with 20 points from 21 matches.
