Ryan Giggs With Not Be Given Permanent United Role Even If He Wins All Remaining Matches

Ryan Giggs will definitely not be Manchester United’s manager, say the Manchester Evening News on Sunday.

Journalist Mike Keegan has penned an article over the weekend which categorically rules out any thoughts that Giggs could succeed David Moyes in the Old Trafford dugout saying the Welshman will end his tenure at the end of the campaign even if he wins all his games in charge.

The M.E.N report:
Ryan Giggs will not be considered as a permanent replacement for David Moyes – even if United win all of their remaining matches this season.

Worshipped by the Reds’ faithful, Giggs has the backing of former manager and current director Sir Alex Ferguson.

But M.E.N. Sport understands that United are committed to seeking out an experienced successor to Moyes, who was sacked on Tuesday.

According to widespread belief, the next manager of Manchester United will be current Holland coach Louis van Gaal. Should that prove true, Van Gaal will become the first ever foreign manager at the Theatre of Dreams.
