ANCELOTTI: I Respect United But Am Not Leaving

Carlo Ancelotti distanced himself from reports linking him with Manchester United: "I'm very happy at Real Madrid at the moment and I'm privileged to work for the biggest club in the world.

I have a lot of respect for United and I didn't like what happened to Moyes, but my place is here"
On Karl-Heinz Rummenigge's remark that Bayern will make life "hell" for Real in Munich, he quipped: "Let's hope the trees burst into flames on Wednesday when we leave and not on Tuesday".

Ancelotti also discussed a wide variety of other topics:
Cristiano: "He finished strongly against Bayern. He needs to play to get match-fit and he'll play tomorrow".
Bale: "He's a little weak. We'll decide tomorrow on whether to use him or prepare him for Tuesday".
Tito: "We're all worried about him. We're trying to keep tabs on the situation and here's hoping it all turns out alright".

The Bayern second leg: "In some matches it's better to defend with two banks of four, but that doesn't mean I'll play four midfielders. Defensive work is about sacrifice and it's up to everyone to put in a shift. We could try playing four in midfield with Bale, Cristiano and Benzema in the team".

The Osasuna game: "We are trying to recoup our energy to win every match. Our efforts against Bayern took a lot out of us, but we hope to be ready. We'll make some changes, but not too many because it's a very important match for the league".

Guardiola: "I'm a big fan of his. He's introduced some new things in football through a very clear style at Barcelona and now at Bayern, though that's proving more difficult because they already had an identity instilled by their previous coach. His methods are very well defined".
Morata: "If we have doubts over Benzema, he'll play because he's in very good form. I have faith in him".
