Pastor Taribo West Tips Eagles To Surprise The World In Brazil 2014

Pastor Taribo is confident that the super eagles will make a mark at the World Cup in June. He also had the opportunity to do that at his time but it never happened. This is not a prophecy ooooh, the pastor just predicted.

Former Eagles defender and ex international, Taribo West has submitted that he sees the present Eagles’ team making a mark at the 2014 world cup in Brazil despite not having players in the mould of the ‘94 set such as Okocha and Amuneke in their fold.

“If you watch the team very well, they don’t have any Okocha, Amuneke, Rashidi, Amokachi or Ikpeba but they believe in their oneness, collectivity and togetherness which is very outstanding.

According to the former Inter and AC Milan defender, they will do well in Brazil as no one gave them a chance at last year’s Nations cup in South Africa.

“This has been the major grace upon the team and this was evident at last years’ AFCON, nobody gave them a chance but they went there and surprised everyone”
